Hi, I’m Adrián Arias, a student at the University of Seville. Over the past two years I’ve carried out in-depth research on mold and moisture in homes: how it grows, how it affects the people who live with it, and how to prevent it.
As part of that research, I analyzed more than 100 scientific studies and official guides, interviewed mold inspectors and building professionals, and tracked humidity levels in dozens of homes through different seasons. What surprised me most was how much confusing and alarming information is out there, and how few simple, reliable guides exist for regular homeowners.
That’s why I created HomeBreatheEasy: to turn everything I’ve learned into clear, practical advice. I don’t sell mold removal services, so I have no reason to make a problem sound worse than it is.
